Workplace

Monocle Prism keeps your business in six parts. Every item lives in one part and links to the others, so you change it once and it is right everywhere.

How the six parts work together

Follow one client through the workplace. Each item lives in one part and links to the next, and every step keeps who did what.

  1. A new client

The client is added as a contact, with their company.

Kept on record: Mark the contact private if only some people should see it.

  2. A deal and its tasks

A deal is opened for the company and tasks are assigned to the team.

Kept on record: Claims, status changes and date changes are written to the deal and task activity.

  3. The proposal

The proposal is written in Monocle Office and linked to the deal.

Kept on record: History is saved before every edit, so earlier versions can be reopened.

  4. The conversation

The team talks it through in the deal comments, and the email to the client carries a link to the deal.

Kept on record: Each comment keeps its author, and an @mention names who was asked.

  5. The quote, invoice and payment

A quote and then an invoice bill the deal, and the payment is recorded against the invoice.

Kept on record: Invoices start private, and every change, void and refund is recorded with who and when.

  6. The next meeting

The client books the follow-up on your booking page, and a paid booking settles as an order.

Kept on record: Monocle AI can draft the next page or document, and nothing is created until you confirm.

Linking two items never gives anyone access to either: who can see each item is set on the item itself.
