Principle

Accountability

You can always see who did what, and when.

What this means in Prism

  • Money changes are recorded

Changes you make to payments, invoices, estimates and orders, including voids and refunds, are recorded with who and when.

  • Sharing is recorded

Changes to who has access, such as granting, changing or removing a role, are recorded.

  • Work has an owner

Tasks can be assigned, claimed and handed back, so it is clear who has it now.

  • Documents keep their versions

Business documents and replaced files keep their earlier versions.

  • Approvals leave a trail

Approval requests record who decided and when.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Someone acts

A person creates, assigns, claims, changes or shares something.

  2. Step 2

    Prism writes it down

Who did it and when goes on the item's activity, or into the money and access records.

  3. Step 3

    You can look back

Open a task, project, job or deal to see its activity and who has it now.

Across all six parts

What this principle means in each part of your workplace, today.

  • Records

Every link between a contact or company and other work keeps who made it.

  • Work

Tasks are assigned, claimed and handed back, and each step is written to the item's activity.

  • Assets

Documents and Office files keep who created them and who edited them last.

  • Comms

  • Money

Changes to payments, invoices, estimates and orders, including voids and refunds, are recorded with who and when.

  • Tools

Every connection names its owner, and what Monocle AI does for you is logged.
