Principle

Security

Your business information is protected, and you decide who sees it.

What this means in Prism

  • Card details stay with the processor

Card details are entered with the payment processor, not stored by Monocle Prism.

  • Keys are stored encrypted

The keys for services you connect are stored encrypted.

  • Access follows roles

Who can see and change money follows their role.

  • Private files stay private

Files you upload can be read only by people with permission.

  • Forms resist abuse

Website forms are protected against automated misuse.

How it works

  1. Step 1

You set who can do what

Roles decide who sees and changes money, and edit rights decide who changes a contact.

  2. Step 2

Sensitive details are kept at the source

Card details go to the payment processor, keys are stored encrypted, and files sit in private storage.

  3. Step 3

    Each request is checked

Money, contacts and files are checked against the person's access before they are shown or changed.

Across all six parts

What this principle means in each part of your workplace, today.

  • Records

Changing or deleting a contact needs edit rights on it.

  • Work

A link can only join items in the same workplace; a link to another workplace's item is refused.

  • Assets

  • Comms

Website forms are protected against automated misuse.

  • Money

Card details are entered with the payment processor, and who can see and change money follows their role.

  • Tools

The keys for services you connect are stored encrypted.
